Mirthful Monday: More FHE Helps--Honesty

Like those in any good LDS family, my children lie. Sometimes a lot. I'm thinking it's time for a solid FHE lessons on Honesty and telling the truth--and, wowie!, have I got the best visual aid ever:

And then there's this classic. I can even sing along!

I don't know how old your kids are, but there's a great site for moms with a lot of FAQ's about LDS culture. Here's the link: http://ldswhy.com/qa/

That first song brings back memories -- I used to sing that as a child. It was written by Janeen Jacobs Brady, and is available for purchase at Brite Music -- they have a website. When I was a child the album was "Songs for a Mormon Child" but now it has a different label. I also like her songs "I'm a Mormon" and "I am Learning How to Spell" and "Hey, Everybody, It's Family Night!"

Thanks for the fun memory!

Like Kelly, I grew up on "Songs for Mormon Children". Ah, the memories! (Thanks for the site Kelly.) I have to admit though that I found them both hilariously awful. :)

I just surfed onto your site, and I thought I'd share that I found all of those "Songs for Mormon Child" songs at http://mormontracks.com. I was able to download and save them as mp3s. Woohoo! Made my day.
